"We really enjoyed our long stay in this very large semi detached house on four floors and would come again. It is luxuriously decorated and furnished and equipped with high quality kitchen appliances and equipment and everything you need for a good stay. Beds and sofas and chairs are comfortable with plenty of cushions for the wide range of outdoor furniture. There is a lovely view towards Gibraltar especially from the large roof terrace and the house gets sun all day long. The heating system is powerful enough for the open plan living area. Full fibre internet is fast enough at typically 60Mbps and stable with good wifi coverage (plug in the upstairs router!). This is a quiet urbanisation with no noise from the A7 coastal motorway and a little noise from neighbours, the road outside and a building site in early stages of development maybe 1km away across the valley. None of this was a major issue. There are only Spanish TV channels and instructions for some of the appliances would have been useful."

"We arrived to find the property interior clean, recently decorated, well taken care of and comfortable furnishings. The view from the living room is superb! The living room furnishings are very comfortable and in great shape and clean. Kitchen recently updated well setup! Shower and bathrooms were slightly disappointing and need modernisation - but almost functional, primary en-suite shower did not drain so was not usable. Outside furniture was comfortable but in need of a good clean. The outside photos are also out of date, glass wall has been placed with an inexpensive wire fence… and the patio is in desperate need of restoration and breaking apart. Lighting fixture on wall was left with a wires and light socket rather than a proper fixture. We also thought they could have opened up the outside and given it a was / clean before we arrived (first impressions and all). Took a bit of time swapping out batteries in corresponding remotes to get the wall heaters / ac working - another thing that could have made the welcome a bit nicer. Key pick up and drop off is at a property managers office - good communication and fairly straight forward. Overall - we had a fabulous time and enjoyed our stay. All of the items mentioned didn’t disrupt our holiday at all. Location is good, shame you have to drive to get anywhere due to the 4 lane road cutting off the estate; but local town nice, beach was beautiful (1 min drive) and Sotogrande Marina was fantastic."

"Our 5 night stay at Villa Vista Mar with my 2 teenagers and Mum was perfect. The view is stunning day and night . The pool and fully air conditioned villa provided welcome respite from the August heat when needed and the patio furniture enabled family card games and al fresco dining in the early evening. We will definitely stay again."

"The apartment itself is first class and the sea views excellent The location is poor in that you have to cross the busy A7 road to walk to the two restaurants which are nearby. Also there were huge amounts of uncollected rubbish which had been deposited outside of and adjacent to the designated bins.I have a picture of this and it would not be something you would expect to see when looking out of the apartment"

"Lots of positives, so those first… The flat was just as described - well equipped and furnished with everything you could need. The balcony was lovely for breakfasts though we lost the sun about 11am - a blessing in summer I suspect. The roof terrace is great for chilling and sunbathing though a little windy in Feb/March maybe. Plenty of parking options. The location is perfect if you have a little dog as you can walk to the end of the street and you are on paths with trees etc, one will take you down over the walkway to the beach. In Feb/March people are allowed to have dogs on the beach which for us was great. The local beach bars are shut in winter so you will need a car to vosit further afield like Port Dequesa etc. The local towns of Estepona and Sabinillas were well worth visiting with lots of beautiful squares and reasonable eateries. The restaurant Aldea Hills just a couple of minutes walk from the villa was amazing - lovely food and service and just 3 euros for a glass of wine! The negative… the walls are very poorly insulated which meant that in the lounge we could hear the little girl next door who didn’t go to bed till 10 and was quite loud! They also have 2 large dogs that they leave home alone sometimes. The other side - the master bedroom was not so bad but often the couple didn’t go to bed until 1/2 in the morning and would talk loudly and shower just before that."
