"Good location near train station, easy walk to old town. Mini-kitchen very helpful (esp. microwave fridge). WiFi was very weak (~3.5mps) -- we ended up using tourist data SIM chip on cell instead. Room slightly warm (~24.5C)... not certain if the room has decent AC or not (might simply have been switched off for the season)...could easily open windows with slight but not terrible train noise. Friendly staff."

"Enjoyed a fantastic 3 nights at Rockypop Flaine with 3 friends. Hotel is perfectly located for getting on to the slopes and our 1 bedroom appartement was spot on! Very spacious, clean, well equipped and comfy beds! Pool and spa also fantastic and a lovely treat at the end of a day skiing! Loved the fun nature and style of the hotel and hope to return with my family as great for kids as well! "

"My second time staying in Flaine in consecutive years. This is not what I'd class as a hotel but private apartments that are used for tourism during the ski season. "We had a wonderful time in this cosy, rustic chalet with impeccable views. It was great for two families and had everything we needed. Only things to watch out for are head heights - there are lots of low level ceilings and so not great for very tall people and lots of steep steps so not brilliant if you have any mobility issues at all. However for a stay very near to the Croix Fry lifts, easy ski hire, slopes, cross country ski and delightful walks it was perfect."
