"As two very 'city' people we are well converted to small town living after staying at this accommodation. The house was beautifully furnished and had everything you could need. It had a beautiful kitchen for cooking your meals each night & living in absolute comfort. Everything is very close by and even though we stayed for the new years period, it was a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Our dog loved the yard & happily lay in the sun while we stayed here. If your pup likes to go wandering you need to be careful as theres no close-able gates but lots of passing dogs. We had no issues with this though :) Lots of neighboring bigger towns to adventure to however we spent the majority of our time in Mangakino walking around the lake and enjoying the peace & quiet! "

"Great location - easy walk or drive to the shops, golf course and lake, with unobstructed views of the river from the spacious lounge and large front deck. Friendly neighbours all around but felt really private. Comfortable beds and modern bathroom and kitchen made it a really enjoyable stay. Would definitely book again!"
