"Beautifully appointed rooms with private plunge pool and view of ocean. Staff very courteous. Breakfasts included in rate were excellent. We ate dinner at the hotel most nights for convenience and because the food and service was good. The main drawback of this hotel is that it is too far away from Santa Teresa and the main beaches to walk so you need to book taxis ( $20 each way), rent an ATV or rent a car. "

"This property is large and beautiful! Well taken care of! The pool is wonderful too! Great place to stay with the family or as a couple. Only note is if you stay in a villa, request one a few up the hill. Unless you are there for the party and to stay up late. The music sounds great, just goes late."

"Fabulous location and beautiful grounds! Walking distance to excellent restaurants, grocery and right on prime area of the beach. Food is fantastic and all staff were all wonderful and helpful. Beware of the "standard garden rooms". They are right on road--no protection from street noise:( Bathrooms are dated, but rooms in general are comfortable. Good place to stay."

"What an amazing rental! We loved every minute of it. I don't know if our favorite spot was the balcony overlooking the ocean or the infinity pool! Kitchen has everything you need. Town isn't too far away and very fun nightlife! Everything was great about this rental, would highly recommend. I wish we stayed more than two nights, we needed more!"

"We had an incredible stay at Vista de Olas in Mal Pais, which offers stunning views of the Pacific coastline. We were welcomed with warm hospitality by Roger, the owner, and his friendly staff. Roger made it a point to check in with us daily, ensuring that we had everything we needed and that we were enjoying our stay. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The infinity pool was undoubtedly a highlight of our stay. The views from the pool were breathtaking, especially during sunset. We loved relaxing there in the evenings. We also appreciated the hotel’s eco-friendly approach, primarily powered by solar energy.Overall, we had a fantastic stay at this eco-friendly hotel. The combination of stunning views, excellent service, and a commitment to sustainability made it a memorable experience."
