"Superb time. Photos were spot on and in some cases did not do justice. Lucy was great on communication throughout.. Three very separate sleeping units with separate washrooms- was great for creating some separation. Outdoor space was terrrific and we spent most of our time hanging there and beside the pool. "Leah and Toro are some of the nicest and down to earth people you’ll meet. The place is perfect and just what I was looking for. A great cafe is next door and down the street a stones throw away is a restaurant right on the beach with great food and drinks. It’s possible to stay here and never have to go anywhere else if your plan was to only surf. I’ll definitely stay here again!"

"This house is the perfect beach house. Our big family stay for three nights. We made a couple of day excursions but other than that stayed at the house, including for meals. It was really relaxing to hear the ocean, hang out outdoors. Sunset viewing, and Dawn ocean swims. Highly recommend. The hostess Pia is super helpful and welcoming."

"Located in the heart of Santa Teresa, this was a decent stop for a couple of nights. Bear in mind it is located directly off the main strip, so it is quite loud at all times. That being said, the property is extremely walkable with all amenities close by, and no 4x4 required to access unlike some of the other properties located up the hill. . "We recently spent a week at The Rock House while visiting Costa Rica and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was beautiful and the photos on VRBO accurately reflect it. "Surf trip with friends. Location is amazing. Walking distance to the main road (Eat Street is on the corner), along with a small supermarket and other boutique stores. Right across the road is beach access and a good surf spot. The house has everything you need. Private gated parking for two cars, the pool was perfect especially after surfs when the temperature cranks up around noon. All bedrooms are spacious and very clean. Hope to be back soon!"

"We had a great stay at Akwa! Alexia and Eduardo were welcoming, kind and responsive. The villa was luxurious, with minimalist design, a full sliding door that transformed the space into shared indoor/outdoor space. The private plunge pool is a game changer! The driveway into the development is very steep, but this is typical of many accommodations in Santa Teresa. You can walk to the beach and back, just prepare yourself for a short but challenging climb back up! "

"This hotel was very cute. Well decorated and really homey. Great location as it’s right in the town center and seconds to the beach. The hotel restaurant was fabulous and staff so attentive. I would highly recommend it. Great price."

"Beautiful jungle retreat on the hill above Montezuma. Limited number of rooms, bright and airy. Clean, with mini fridge and a complete kitchen below an open air dining with a great ocean view patio where a nice breakfast was served daily. Laundry is available for a fee. Access is up a steep, potholed road just out of town. Turnoff to lodge is a narrow dirt with ample parking. A trail head leading to upper falls with swimming is right out the door. Staff is outstanding and the owner was from the State where I live. Some erosion control work was being done during our visit and only a minor distraction. Highly recommended if your in the Montezuma area."

"We could not be any happier, this was the best location, close to the beach, great pool area to relax in a shady spot for peace and quiet. The rooms and room service are 5***** clean and fresh, smells amazing. The staff is incredibly helpful and so friendly. We felt like we were family. Look out for the two resident iguanas. "
