"We had a wonderful overnight stay at the Megaron, and were very impressed with the standard of our room, which was spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. The large bathroom had a great shower, and we loved the Korres toiletries. The buffet breakfast was amongst the best we've had at any hotel. Staff very friendly and professional, with nothing too much trouble. "

"We traveled as a family: two of us and our 1.5-year-old. The room we stayed in was spacious. The beds were relatively comfortable, and the room was clean and well maintained. The biggest treat was the view. We had a room on the fourth floor with a spectacular view of the bay and the sea beyond. Breakfast was served on the top floor, and the dining area also had a spectacular view of the sea. The breakfast options were some of the best we experienced, including self-made Greek coffee and a self-assembled traditional Cretan meal, a hand juicer to make your own fresh orange juice an loads of other options for food and drinks. In January, the room was a little chilly and slightly humid, and this was an unpleasant combination. But thankfully the heating element worked well enough, and we made it fairly comfortable in the end. The staff were very friendly. There is a small tea/coffee bar on the ground floor which needs to be serviced by the concierge. There is no tea kettle in the room itself! This was probably the only downside for our stay since we would have liked to warm up some of the water for our daughter or had the ability to make tea ourselves. Lastly, there is a laundry business just a few steps away from the hotel. The man who runs the business dropped off our clean laundry at the hotel. So, keep this option in mind as you travel. As a whole, this hotel was excellent. Get a room with a sea view. It is worth it."

"Our experience at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional! Having enjoyed several all-inclusive holidays in the past, we can confidently say this one stands out as the best by far. The variety of food options was simply incredible—there was so much to choose from that we were spoiled for choice! From an abundance of healthy dishes to excellent vegetarian options, every meal was a delight. Our room was immaculate, chic, and beautifully decorated, with a spacious and modern bathroom that exceeded our expectations. Housekeeping ensured our room was spotless every day, always adding a personal touch with their care and attentiveness. The restaurants provided top-notch service alongside an impressive selection of dishes. Every meal felt like a special occasion, leaving us consistently impressed. The hotel’s location by the sea was breathtaking. Sipping expertly crafted cocktails on the beach while enjoying the serene views was an absolute highlight. The pizza and burger station added a fun and convenient touch that we absolutely loved. If we could give this hotel more than 10 stars, we absolutely would! We're already planning to explore another Mitsis hotel in the future, thanks to this unforgettable experience. A heartfelt thank-you to the entire team for making our stay so remarkable. "I had a great stay at High Beach Hotel. It was the end of the season (literally - the day I left the place closed for winter). There were not many guests around, but the service was impeccable. I got a room upgrade and enjoyed a beautiful view of the sea. The food was excellent and had a great variety. The hotel is perfectly located to explore the central and eastern parts of the island by car."

"Although we had a great stay at Mitsis selection Laguna when booking this I booked a bungalow sea view , i felt I was cheated on the room rate because we ended up with a garden view / children play area , and looked nothing like what was advertised on the website . We queried this at reception which we were offered another room but to another garden view so it wasn’t worth the upheaval of our belongings but the receptionist took a contact number if an upgrade became available he would call us. Never got a call . At the end of our holiday we learnt that another couple got a free upgrade to a bungalow sea view with Jazzi because they weren’t happy with their view either so I was really disappointed that the cost of garden view room rate is less than what we paid for . apart from this we can’t fault the hotel , all staff were lovely and attentive food and drinks were great too "
