"The hotel is on the edge of the city center and only 2 blocks from the ocean. You would have to walk about 20 minutes for a small beach or drive 20 for a nicer beach. I rented a car and drove all over the island. Maria at the front desk was very helpful. Parking is hit or miss aw far as street parking. "This property far exceeded our expectations. We knew from the reviews that it was going to be great but we were not prepared for the magnificent views, the magical outdoor space and the incredible sense of privacy. It was mesmeric, utterly breathtaking and we loved every minute of our stay. We also thoroughly enjoyed the local area, including the beaches, great restaurants and the Palace of Knossos. As soon as we got home, we were dreaming of when we could come back to the Mirabello Estate. "

"Amazing property with amazing staff. My family of 5 had a private ground floor villa with its own pool. It was very large, super clean, well decorated, and had everything we needed, including complimentary water, raki, pasteli and juice. Walking distance to many shops, restaurants, beaches etc. Staff were very friendly and offered their advice and services throughout. Highly recommend and would come back again. We were surprised there were no cookware at all, although provided a convenient oven and 2 burner stovetop. The clothes washer worked well.
