"I recently checked into the Robertson and was appalled by the condition. The bedding was dirty and the owner admitted to reusing it without cleaning. Despite this, they refused to refund my payment of over £300. Expedia was unhelpful, offering only a £75 refund as a goodwill gesture. They suggested I should have complained before checking in, which is impossible since the check-in is through a drop box and the cleanliness can only be assessed upon arrival. "I like the fake creepers wrapped around pillars and covered the ceilings. Very nice touch. This time we got a very clean room with strong air-con. Breakfast buffet spread have a good variety and taste good but one let fown is the coffee. Need to improve the quality of the coffee. Service staff are very polite, cheerful and helpful."
