"No directions via email were given to us but we managed to find the property. The name of the Villa wasn’t displayed so we didn’t know which one it was. The key doesn’t fit the front door properly and the owner was on in contactable so it was all a bit of a fraught start. Spoke to the owner two days later, who said that I had her landline number and not her mobile. Hence she didn’t reply when we couldn’t get into the property. "Very nice villa with everything that you need for a relaxing holiday. The village is quite but the locals are very friendly. The information about the villa and directions from the owner where helpful and nothing was a problem. You would need a car for access to the villa and to explore the island. If you don't want a touristy place this is for you!"

"Lovely view are available from any of the four balconies. The sounds of children at play at the school was nice. Loved the private pool and the architecture of the building! "

"A truly wonderful little house, very well appointed with bedding and towels. It's even somewhat of a tourist attraction due to the magnificent Bougainvillea. Just right for two people. Turn left out of the front door and you have 6 tavernas, 4 bars, a super bay to swim in and a well stocked little supermarket. The whole atmosphere is very tranquil and relaxed. Finally Androniki, the owner is fabulous and very attetive."

"Elia is a beautiful old property with all mod cons in a stunning location. We stayed six nights and couldn’t have been happier with our choice to stay here. The house is beautifully styled and the view from the upstairs deck is stunning. "Wi-Fi was down the entire time we were there. Not a huge deal but this was never disclosed to us until we asked. Seems like some information we could have be told up front. Bathroom was definitely not cleaned before our arrival. House is overall tired and needs some basic attention. Lots of lights that don’t work, shower was pretty dirty. Definitely more “rustic” than “traditional” The property is beautiful and we did enjoy our stay, just wish it was cleaner. "

The yard, the real living-room, is quite small, but very agreeable and has a nice atmosphere. Hostess Eleni is absolutely friendly and gave us a lot of advices for our trips and restaurants. In Kavoussi there are not to many tourists, so you feel as living in an authentic Kretian village. We are glad having found this accomodation and region for our holidays. . "
