"Some of the staff were good. Some of the staff we not so good. The towels smelled of smoke from the laundry. It seems the supplier was smoking whilst washing them and really not great The penthouse was a little dangerous as the rail up the stairs could easily fit a small child and the fall would have been 15 Ft. There was only 2 restaurants so limited choice and the food was the same every night. Quality was 3/10 We met the GM and he seemed nice and offered us a free dinner, but they messed up...

"Property was close to the airport which is what we wanted. There’s a nice water park for kids and families. We were 5 adults traveling and knew that when booking but there are a lot of kids so it’s definitely busy and bustling with people. Check in was crowded and busy. Check out was very easy. Our room initially had a bad sewage or fishy type smell but once we turned on the air it improved. Bed was a little hard but served its purpose. Property is very large and spread out but they offer trams...

"I stayed here for 3 nights after sailing for two weeks out of Yacht Haven Marina. The resort is very well kept, clean and super comfortable. The bar staff are excellent and friendly. Kin and Matt are excellent managers. Very kid-friendly. Good energy relative to other resorts I have been to in the area. Close to the airport and the marina; about an hour taxi to Patong (the party town of the island). "

"Mai Khao Beach Guest House is possible Phuket's best kept secret. It's only 3 colorful bungalows tucked away a short walk from the beach. Everything is brand new and spotless. The beach itself is almost free from tourists. Walk north and you will only meet local fishermen for 5 km. The owner of the bungalows and his wife are the nicest people. They will do everything to make your stay comfortable and you really feel like part of the family."
