"It's obvious that this is an older building that has been repaired cosmeticly. Room was comfortable and clean.Staff was friendly. Breakfast buffet was adequate. All in all, I would stay here again."

"Beautiful location, atop the mountains where one can sit, relax with a cup of delicious complimentary coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Speakeasy is fun although the menu can use a bit of updating to include healthier choices. Hotel is classic elegance, a miniature of the Viking Hotel in Newport (the way it used to be before they modernized it). "

"CALL AHEAD IF YOU NEED TO ARRIVE LATE. Staff was very helpful so not upset, but the central office said we could arrive late in the evening, and when we showed up they labeled us a no show. So, call them directly if you will be arriving late. Great hotel stay. "
