"New, clean fully equipped home and boathouse. We spent a short time but will definitely rent this again. The bedrooms are spacious, living room and open kitchen plan provide good entertaining space. Basement is furnished and has extra beds for young kids . Ideal for families and group of friends looking for a good getaway for the summer. Property managers are friendly and courteous. Definitely recommend this place . "

"We stayed during MLK weekend. It was a perfect halfway place between the ski mountain and Richmond. The views are unbelievable. The house was well stocked and super clean.The only thing they need is another bathroom lol for a large group of people "

"The home was spotless and offered more than enough space for 8 adults to coexist for a few days. The view was stunning, the game room was a blast, and the hot tub was clean and relaxing. Joanne was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. I couldn't recommend this home enough, and we hope to stay there again at some point. "

"The house was very spacious and clean. The bed were insanely comfortable, whatever sheets and comforter they had I want them for my own home. We thought the pool table and ping pong table were larger from the pictures but they were miniature, which was still fine. Overall we had a great time staying at the house. The area was very quiet and we had lovely walks around the neighborhood, very safe. I highly recommend for a family gathering. The host was very easy to communicate with and very generous when we asked for two additional days. "

"The house was very clean. Our teenage son and his friends really enjoyed the basement area. Only complaint is there’s no bathroom in the basement. But the house was great. Not much water view from the house due to trees. But if you walk down to dock area it’s a really pretty view up the lake. The fire pit was also very nice. "

" We had a very weekend stay at Bumpass in early October. The house is conveniently located near a marina and dollar general. We had 3 adults and 3 kids in our group and we had enough space to spread out; could have probably done a couple more people still felt good about the space. There are three living areas with a basement movie room (very cool), a main floor living room with large tv, and a screened in patio. There are lots of board games as well that we got into. There is also the large outdoor deck with grill AND Blackstone. The hot tub is certainly a nice touch as well! The outdoor property is well appointed with nice fire pit, frisbee golf “hole”, nice dock with sitting area, good place for lake swimming off the dock, and canoes, kayaks and paddle boards! Despite having enough room for our group, I did think the home felt a little smaller than the pictures suggest. Be prepared to bring all of your own kitchen supplies; there are no supplies, not even salt and pepper. Finally be aware that the hot tub will not be hot when you arrive, unless you are adjacent to a prior stay; it is kept at 85F when the house is not rented. Overall it was a very nice rental. My family and I really enjoyed our weekend."
