The location is excellent--our room looked out on the lake and we were within minutes walk of the lake and all the main attractions such as the church and the Dark Sky Project. "We stayed here on our honeymoon and were pleasantly surprised by Lake Tekapo. We had a fantastic view from our room and I just spent every opportunity sitting by the balcony and staring out to the lake. Room was very spacious and had everything you needed. "The room was great, staff were friendly and helpful. The food at the Chamois was amazing, better even than the buffet at the Hermitage. "

"It is a nice spacious apartment in a quiet neighborhood. It is close to the town center with shops, restaurants and supermarket. Unfortunately, the management didn't clean the apartment thoroughly because there was still strong odor (food smell / cooking from previous occupants). Also there was no paper towels or dish / cleaning cloths in the kitchen. Good thing was that the bedrooms upstairs were not impacted by the odor."

"The property is clean but not very modern. Has a bit of an old /chalet like touch to it. The breakfast spread definitely limited with no only sweetened/syrupy fruits.
