"We stayed here on our honeymoon and were pleasantly surprised by Lake Tekapo. We had a fantastic view from our room and I just spent every opportunity sitting by the balcony and staring out to the lake. Room was very spacious and had everything you needed. Staff were helpful and friendly and they provide several recommendations for things to do and see if the area. We were even able to use the coin laundry for guests which was super convenient timing for our stay. Would definitely recommend staying here, especially if you plan to stay for a few days."

"We loved our stay at the Lake Tekapo Village Motel! The location is excellent--our room looked out on the lake and we were within minutes walk of the lake and all the main attractions such as the church and the Dark Sky Project. The staff were so friendly and happy to accomodate all of our needs. The complimentary breakfast/lunch is an excellent deal -- voucher to spend at adjacent Doughboys Restaurant which features noodles as well as homemade dumplings (order 20 minutes ahead but so handy to motel so very convenient).
