"Everything about this cottage was arranged with thought and good taste, including simple decorations, furniture, and kitchen items. We instantly felt at home, except more relaxed, not being surrounded by our own chores and to-do lists! It was easy to walk to restaurants and shops by crossing the charming covered bridge. In the other direction I found the Art Center and a beautiful park, and a second footbridge to the Library and History Museum. Highlights of our trip were the Silverton Holiday Market, dinner at Oso, and all the friendly people we spoke with in shops and elsewhere. Highly recommended! We'd have enjoyed the back patio, except it was cold and rainy most of our visit."

"Great visit for family fun at the Christmas Marketplace in Silverton. Loved the house-spacious and cozy…decorated warmly for Christmas. Walked to charming downtown restaurants and stores. Laurie is an amazing host!"

"Our adult children joined us as we celebrated Thanksgiving with family who live just across Commercial Street. Home was perfect for us, clean, and cozy! Owners were quick to respond to our questions. We highly recommend and would stay here again. "

"Awesome spot on a farm with a bunch of wildlife which was great to see. Only thing that was a surprise is they the bathroom, shower, and kitchen area are locked before 8am and after 9pm. This was pretty inconvenient for us since we hiked super early and woke up at 6am each morning. "
