"I had a lovely stay and was treated like a princess by Mahmoud every time my meals were served, meals so large it was impossible to eat it all Massive room and great air conditioning and a 10 minute walk to the ferry to the main tourist historic sites . My luggage was damaged and a repair service was used to get me back to Cairo and onwards back to Dunfermline, Scotland "

"Plus: Great location directly at Luxor Corniche und walking distance to town center and Karnak temple. Very good breakfast buffet und tasty dinner options. Very attentive and friendly staff ! Minus: From foreigner perspective worn out bathroom equipment, dirty curtains and slow internet connection with many outages. "

"The only good thing about this hotel was the location, however once we checked in, we left asap because we found a cockroach in the curtains… a flying one too. We’re not picky travelers and we like to stay at economically friendly place but would not stay at a place with roaches or bed bugs. Pay a little extra to stay across the street at Pyramisa or somewhere else. I wouldn’t recommend this place as we couldn’t even complete our stay"

"Lovely garden oasis with old world charm. The Pavillion is more our style to stay in than the original Winter Palace. The rooms had lovely views of the garden and service was excellent "
