"Had an enjoyable short break at the Maple Lodge. Hosts were very friendly including the cats and dogs. Lodge was cozy, clean and had all the amenities you need. Bed was comfortable and slept well after all the walking and trekking. WiFi was intermittent and could probably do with a boost but it did not ruin our stay as we were out exploring the surrounding area most of the day. "We arrived to a warm welcome and homemade cakes which got our weekend off to a great start. Garden Cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay and breakfast on the patio looking towards Ross on Wye was a wonderful way to start our days. The walk to Ross on Wye takes between 20-30 minutes depending on your pace and has a few half way attractions, the historical Wilton Bridge and Wilton Castle, so the stroll seems to take no time at all.
