"Old Tudor hotel in centre of Tewkesbury. Although you got the feel of a Tudor property, the rooms & bathrooms have been refurbished with modern fittings, & walk in showers. No lifts & bedrooms over two floors so there can be quite a few steps. All staff very friendly, helpful & polite. Bar closed 10.30pm even for residents Thursday which was a surprise. Night porter had to let us in & just said most places close 10.30pm mid week. Most hotels I stay at serve to residents, even if it is just...

"The stay here was amazing. I received a lovely welcome from the new owners Sian and Eifion. The room was beautiful with a view of the fields and river Wye. There was a complimentary tea and coffee tray. With a variety of different coffees, herbal tea and the tea bags in a jar. Not the mandatory two or three and one or two milks.
