"A getaway for the two of us, we loved this place and would be glad to come back again. It was quiet, close to Main Street and the cabin was lovely. The real downside was the flies which we couldn't tell where the source was (management said they had someone coming in to spray) but it was otherwise clean and nice. "

"This is the only place we will stay on our return visits to Fredericksburg. It was lovely! The owners, Marsha and Steve were so friendly, very attentive, and always around for whatever we needed. It was within walking distance of shops and restaurants (one block off Main). Rooms were spacious and very very quiet. The property has 8 cottages. "Our stay was very comfy !! It was an amazing couples getaway ! They went above and beyond to provide everything needed for a get away in the Texas hill country ! We had a personal fire pit for the cold evening ! Inside we had a comfy bed with an amazing view outside to all of the wild life !! Roaming free they had longhorns,ducks,chcikens,and black buck deer! "Not a fan, wouldn't stay again. Stayed in the Alden Haus, suite 2. Room was clean, bed was pretty comfortable, bring a fan or something for sound because it is eerily quite at night plus you can hear the people in the other room (we could even hear them use the bathroom). They need better curtains, if your light is on when it's dark congrats everyone can see clear into your room! Hot tub area needs to be cleaned, I get it's an closed in area outside but it wouldn't hurt to dust or sweep it out...
