Check in experience. Ŵe reserved and paid for an Executive King Suite. We got a king room .Very comfortable room. But front desk was combative when we questioned which room we had gotten. Definitely did not have a sofa in it. I am surprised the hotel has such good ratings. It's comfortable snd quiet, but not somewhere I would intentionally stay again.

The motel is average. Very outdated but seemed clean enough, although a roach in the bathtub. Mattress was very used and sunk in where other people slept. The breakfast was just OK. Food was plentiful on the weekend, however, as the week progressed the food was only what was left over from each day. By the end of the week not much selection. Bread date was always expired.

Breakfast was great. Rooms need a little updating, but was clean and spacious. The only thing that was confusing was the driving through the breezeway to the rooms at the back of the property. All in all, great, clean, quiet, spacious and good breakfast!

Being in Fredericksburg for the weekend, there was a Christmas parade, the Signing Christmas Tree at the Pioneer Museum, lots of shopping, winery visits, and not to mention the UT vs. Georgia game at any of the sports bars. What a busy weekend!! Lots of fun and very convenient hotel at the Sunday House.

Stay was good and quiet. I do think for the amount spent the place could get some updating done to the rooms and a bigger breakfast area. Other than that everything was so close by which was great.

The rooms are spacious and nice . We stayed in the delux suit and it’s very spacious and sleeps 5-6 people including the pull out. Staff was helpful and very nice. Free coffee and tea in the lobby

This is a well-maintained, older property. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast buffet featured many choices, both hot and cold. The exterior doors could use a new coat of paint, but that's only cosmetic.

The breakfast was the best I have had at any hotels. The lady working the breakfast was attentive and noticed when something was needing to be replaced. All staff here was very friendly. The bed was comfy and the room was a good size. The fire pit was a nice touch. We sat out by it and played some cards one night. The main street with lots of restaurants and shopping was in walking distance. The facility might seemed dated but I would recommend family and friends to stay here.
