"Very rustic . Although the mix up of rooms booked through this site was told to directly contact resort next time. Was told trivago reserved a queen size bed when I selected a king size room on the site. I wish I would’ve known that. They do not have ice machines available morning breakfast was at 9 o’clock, which was a little late, but it was tasty. There are holes in the door panels to the room that could be better secured. "

"What an amazing find. Upon check in we were greeted by Steve and Marsha and treated like long time friends. Marsha showed us the property and they didn't miss a beat when it came to details. Not only is the property beautiful the rooms are meticulously appointed with details such as Turkish robes, fine linens, high end toiletries. "By far the best rental I’ve had in Fredericksburg!! The location is fabulous, we walked everywhere. It was super easy to access and the suite was great. It is much more spacious than I had expected and was super clean. I would highly recommend this rental and will definitely be back. "

"Not a fan, wouldn't stay again. Stayed in the Alden Haus, suite 2. Room was clean, bed was pretty comfortable, bring a fan or something for sound because it is eerily quite at night plus you can hear the people in the other room (we could even hear them use the bathroom). They need better curtains, if your light is on when it's dark congrats everyone can see clear into your room! Hot tub area needs to be cleaned, I get it's an closed in area outside but it wouldn't hurt to dust or sweep it out...
