"Nant Ddu Lodge was a lovely relaxing place to stay, staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was lovely we had breakfast within the price our stay which had both continental and cooked along side fruit and cereals to choose from, we also had evening meal in the restaurant which I could not fault. The swimming pool was a lovey place to chill after a day of exploring. Will definitely be returning again."

"whether its ringing up to book or arriving at the hotel there is always a welcome from the team who deal with you. Natalie, Sophie or any of the receptionists greet you well and if you choose to dine then Julian, Nicoletta and Viktoria in the restaurant will look after you. If you want a good room then any of the Superior Rooms are good but why not treat yourself to a Luxury room for a few pounds more. Our dog always gets a warm welcome from the team too."

"Was a little apprehensive when I realised the family room was in the loft. My mum has mobility issues so I didn’t think she would be able to access it when Paul told me it was steep, narrow stairs. I needn’t have worried! The stairs were not that bad and mum managed them. The room was lovely with a king size bed and another room with 2 single beds. Tea/coffee facilities and biscuits were in the room. En-suite was lovely. One of the best I’ve seen in guest houses and B&B’s. Paul’s daughter checked us in and she was very welcoming and helpful telling us some local places to eat. Breakfast was fantastic! Full English breakfast and it was a good size. I couldn’t eat it all! Plenty of toast too! All cooked to order so nice and fresh. The white seeded toast was really nice. Cereal, fruit, yogurt and juice was available to help yourself. Paul was very friendly and made sure everything was ok. A bonus was out 2 dogs could stay free of charge! We will definitely be back. I am glad I have found this B&B and when we attend the dog shows at The Welsh Show Ground this is where we will be booking. See you soon Paul! "

"Very good sized rooms, comfortable and with character. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good value for money. The only slight downside is the clock tower very close by where the bell chimes every hour throughout the night but this is totally outside of the control of the hotel. Excellent places to eat (especially The Crown Inn) within a 5 minute walk. Four of us were on a motorbiking weekend and it is a great base to stay for lovely roads on the doorstep. Highly recommended"

"Very friendly and helpful staff; the rooms are very comfortable and quiet. There's a nice bar and restaurant for evening meals (fish and chips is quite good). Breakfast is continental, but there is a nice variety of cereals and toast and other items. The internet was quite good, by British standards."
