"Staff were fantastic. Hotel building and location were amazing. Great views across to the straights and mountains. Breakfast was really good, dinner was ok. Main issue was that we were not in the main building but a separate one (lodge). Walls there are paper thin unfortunately and could hear everything in room next door. Boiler from room nextdoor was also super loud. Not great for 200 a night! I'm sure the rooms in the main building are much better so would be good to come back and stay in them...

It was comfortable, cosy , clean , nicely decorated and well furnished.There's parking out front but that was taken but I easily parked outside.breakfast was cooked to order and very tasty. Small gripes,the room was warm but bathroom wasn't and the TV wasn't HD."

The day arrived and the weather forecast was awful and nearly stopped our visit however after prompt, helpful communication from Regan we decided to try and brave the travel. "Nice and close for shopping, beach and pubs. Macerator toilet activates 2-3 times during the night. Annoying! Can be a bit noisy with night time revellers. Only had board, didn't sample breakfast. Plenty of food choices within short walking distance. Overall I would recommend and I would stay there again. "

"Ty Golchi is absolutely perfect. It's finished and furnished to such a high standard, everything there really has been thoughtfully curated. Its a perfect base for exploring and the log fire really does make it the perfect relaxing night in. Will definitely be back."
