"Before arriving I was in email contact with Joseph, the concierge whom answered every question, arranged a van from the hotel. During the trip our companion broke her wrist and was ambulance driven to the hospital where her and her husband sat in Limbo for 4 hours. I called Joseph whom explained while healthcare was good in Malta, the state run hospital was short handed and could be a full day disaster; instead he suggested a private hospital we switched to whom triaged, xrayed, diagnosed and cast her arm in 2hours total! Joseph made a bad situation so much better. Sunny and the breakfast staff were stellar as was the maids, grounds keepers and Amy in reception whom we purchased a very fair priced upgrade for the room. We have traveled all over the world and this property was perhaps the best we had ever been. It wasn’t the fancy stone, spacious rooms, beautiful pools though they were certainly present; it was the people who made the difference. "Just returned from a 4 night stay in this hotel. What a beautiful hotel. I would say it is ideally suited to over 50s, superb rooms with everything you could wish for. Sea views, fantastic breakfast and evening meals. There is a buffet evening meal or a la carte or bar snacks. Complimentary taxi from the hotel into Valetta town near the bus station. Its a short walk but it is up a hill, so its great and runs every 20 mins. no need to book it. The staff are fantastic. the rooms are cleaned and beds changed every 2 days, turn down service in the evenings with complimentary chocolates left on your bed side table. towels given for the pool areas. Fantastic indoor pool with hot tub and very grand outdoor pool with amazing views. Cannot rate this hotel high enough. Book bed and breakfast and you can decide which evening meal you require and book at the reception for the evening. food in the bar area in the evening is great to. We had 2 evening meals in the admirals lounge buffet style. The international evening on a Monday was the best. Maltese buffet on the Wednesday wasnt as much to our liking, but well worth the money. We had an evening meal in the bar area one night excellent food, and 1 night out at the famous 33 steps taxi there and back 5 euros each way. Fantastic food and atmosphere. We will definitely return to this hotel, dont stay anywhere else you are guaranteed to love this place as much as we did."

"Everybody was amazing! Shan from reception, Alice and Sujata from spa, Julian from the gym, Cristy and Renelyn from the restaurant. Basically everybody from this hotel are excellent! The amenities are superb! 645 sea view room with the bath tub, love it! It would be perfect if the toilet is in the same area as the bathroom or even just have a bidet but because apart from that I absolutely loved my stay in this absolutely superb hotel. I will definitely come back! It's near everything and the view is just out of this world. "

"Lovely stay. Hotel is in a wonderful position, close to bars, and 5 minutes walk to a dozen or more further restaurants and bars. It is just 5 minutes walk to the ferry too and the bus stops. Staff were so helpful and friendly; rooms were spotless; breakfast was plentiful. However, the view from our room really made our stay: right across to Valletta which lit up at night. Really enjoyed our stay. "

"I had a room on the 8th floor with a long balcony and a beautiful view of Valletta. The hotel is nicely located in Sliema with easy bus and ferry access. The room was large and the bathroom has a show and nice tub. Definite recommend. "

"There was work being done on the elevators. To make up for this, they offered free drinks in the afternoon and free dinner. We were very happy with our stay!"
