"Casa Portuguesa was such a beautiful and elegant building, with lots of beautiful hardwood in the rooms, spacious storage and bathroom, and a private patio with a big french door. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and breakfast was great. We loved the hot tub in the greenhouse and the pool to jump into to cool off! The location is perfect--on the edge of downtown, overlooking a park, just steps from good restaurants but far enough from the busy center to make driving and parking...

Ponta Delgada can be explored on foot. Eduardo was very helpful with good tips on how to explore the island and restaurant/food recommendations. "
