"We were met with a handshake and engaging conversation by the hotel’s administrator. We sat in the living room on couches to get checked in. We were personally escorted around the hotel showing us much history of the building, where breakfast would be served, where the pool was, etc. The room was beautiful! We stayed in a spacious suite and had a nice quiet room. We would definitely stay there again if we have the opportunity. "

"Great place to stay in Ponta Delgada. The hotel is located in a very convenient place close to the downtown area. Many restaurant options within walking distance. The couple that runs the hotel are very personable and friendly. They offer great travel and restaurant recommendations. You should speak with them before going out everyday. They make their own jams for the breakfast as well which was delicious. "

"What a GREAT surprise. No regular Motel experience here. Like staying in your Grandma's House. Everyone staying has a place set for Breakfast. Great Conversation and trip discusions. Breakfast is all local sourced, really good! Yogurts.Jambs, Breads, Fruits, eggs. and coffee your way! I met all German people and had a great time. Did a local hike with the owner and some guests. This was a great start to a wonderfull trip! "
