"The apartment itself was excellent and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. The only thing keeping this from being a 5-star review across the board is that if you are a light sleeper, and you are there on the weekend, there are a couple after-hours night clubs (from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM) that are very loud when the crowd leaves. We are early risers, so it didn't affect our stay, but if you want to sleep past 5:30 AM, you might have a challenge. Staff was very good and forewarned us...

"What a unique and wonderful place to stay. Our room was spacious, airy and bright. The staff is great, particularly Diego, who went out of his way to be helpful in a number of ways. Great guy - personable, professional and sincere. The house is close to many restaurants. Easily walkable. The only downside is that parking can be a bit difficult, but not a game changer. I’d stay there again. "

"This place was amazing. We had our own bathroom and one of the best views ever. The staff was excellent, the rooms were always clean and fresh smelling. Was a little skeptical at first with no air conditioning but we never needed it. There was a ceiling fan installed during our stay as well as the balcony door opened all day and night. "This apartment was exactly as pictured and represented. It's located in a quiet area - Ponto Formoso - a short 20-25 minute drive from the airport and 5-10 minutes from the bigger town of Ribiera Grande. The view from the apartment is the best. We loved eating every meal on the balcony and ending our days laying out on the beach and going for a swim. There are two life guard towers and snack bar style restaurant on the beach. If you want to surf, head up to the bigger Santa Barbara beach...
