"The only drawback of this place is that parking on the lane, if you have to carry luggage etc, is impossible, as there is no place to turn around without executing a 12-point turn. So I park on the main street and walk up. The positives are: beautiful sunny room in the morning with a view 'out' over Oakland, closeness to Roberts Regional and other fabulous redwood/sequoia groves and Chabot Science center, relative convenience, close to main roads and arteries. "Great place for the working traveler. All amenities and features are as perfectly described. And the location was super convenient, close to downtown San Carlos and Redwood City, and even not too bad of a drive to San Francisco. Both Ela & Matt were great hosts, extremely responsive and made every effort to ensure a comfortable stay. Best of all, they gave me outstanding recommendations for local restaurants, the best of which was Varam Indian! Will be returning the next time for a work trip."
