"The place itself is very clean, the staff are friendly and the food was delicious. The only complaint and it's not any real thing the place can do but the trains all night long. Tooting their horns. If they had double glazed windows I would have slept alot better and I was on the 7th floor facing the railway. "

"The Oriental Residency is a good hotel to consider when visiting Mumbai. The rooms are comfortable with aircon, wifi, and flat screen TV. The meals from The Soul Restaurant were delicious and the staff are courteous . Location was good for me as I was in Mumbai for dental surgery and it's 5 minutes walking distance to Dentzz Dental. For anyone on a budget, the Oriental Residency is a great hotel to consider."

"The property owners need to update photos of the property. While the place isn’t dirty, the photos make it look like much better than it actually is. We found a few dead insects and the bedding and furniture were dilapidated. We had the property for 3 nights but left after the first night into a different place."

"Staff were great, area around hotel was filthy, location was great to get everywhere, room was clean and service very good, need to get internet and tv service upgraded to work all the time. I would highly recommend the hotel for safety, great staff and location! Rooms are small but price is very good and we spend travelling not in our rooms! , lrt to south area of city easy to use, so I trust this hotel and staff and thst is key for me when travelling, women will also be safe here! "We only stayed one night and the people we very nice. They even helped us get ruppees when our debit card didnt work. It is in an especially busy street, but we couldnt hear most of the noise once we were in our room. The stairs to get in are very steep & narrow, but they will help you bring up your luggage. "
