"The property overall was nice, especially since you can use the facilities next door at the outrigger. Negitives were no clear directions on how to operate the ac unit or tv. Never could get the bedroom tv to work. Furniture in living area needs updated. And broken shutter(on ground level condo) needed repaired. "

"Little use of car. Walking distance to beach, tennis/pickleball courts and pool. Enjoyed every meal in w/family. Wonderful outdoor seating area. Would stay here again!"

"We had a great stay! Easy walk to the bluff, Hideaways Beach and Pua Poa beach access behind 1Hotel. We walked to the hotel every morning and enjoyed coffee from the coffee kiosk on the lanai with views of Hanalei Bay. Lynn provided lots of special touches from the Welcome Basket to the well stocked soaps and toiletries. Very clean and easy check in. "

"The best part about this property by far is the beautiful view of both the ocean and mountains. The property is cozy, comfortable and clean. Parking was easy, and right across the street is a great ocean lookout spot. "

"We loved the view from this unit! The pool and gardens are so pretty. It's amazing how the glass doors open all the way up so there is an indoor/outdoor feel to the living room/dining room. A few more plates would be a great addition to the kitchen supplies. Also, the footsteps on floor of upstairs unit were a little disruptive in the early morning hours..."

Everything was very comfortable and the information in the notebook was super helpful on the beaches and restaurants. "The property is a little dated but this is exactly what we are looking for. The owner is very accommodating and timely concerning communication. The pricing is fair considering the location. A well stocked condo that we will be returning to."

"Convenient location in a nice neighborhood. The beach gear that the host provided was a nice touch. The rental was cute, but more towels could be provided (one set of towels for a five night stay - I've never had to wash towels before at a rental.) The one thing that freaked me out were the cockroaches. There were a good amount. If I could have found another place to stay, I would have. I've stayed on all the other Hawaiian islands and never saw one before."

Better Than Expected

"I have to say that this hotel’s website doesn’t do the hotel justice. We booked expecting a nice, lower-priced hotel that would mainly be a place to sleep between adventures. What we got was a wonderful hotel with a very friendly and accommodating staff. The only negative experience we had was no fault of the hotel; someone stole our water bottles when we left them unattended on the beach. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it."

Great location in Poipu with solid amenities!

"The Villas were idea for the two of us. A small kitchen area with microwave, full-size fridge, stove, dishwasher and washer and dryer was great for us to make breakfast and coffee. Walls were a little thin but not too bad. We weren’t sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. No pushy timeshare sales either so that’s a major plus in Hawaii. Beach area was great. Worth it to pony up $100 for the umbrella/cabana on the beach. Also, they have a luau there so if you are looking for that, it’s one of the best we’ve been to (and we’ve been to about 10 or 12). "
