"We enjoyed our two-night stay very much. The room was fresh and clean, beds were comfortable and shower was perfect. The beach front is beautiful. Parking is a bit of a challenge, very full in the evenings and parking spaces are tight. If you arrive late, after a nice dinner off property, parking will be full but I am so grateful they offer free valet to accommodate guests when the parking is full. Will definitely return!"

"Absolutely loved staying here! I was here for 4 nights mostly to sleep. During the day I was out hiking around the island. Location is perfect because it's about halfway point on the island. Bed was comfy, it all felt private and safe, the staff was SO friendly and it was spotlessly clean. Parking was also easy. This is probably one of the best value stays on the island. I was expecting a rundown motel vibe but it's the opposite. It felt renovated, clean and with modern touches. If you're looking for a place to rest while you explore the beauty of this island rather than sit at a pool all day then stay here!! "

"The staff was always friendly with five star players! The room was quiet and comfortable. We did utilize the pool, the game room (played pool and other fun games), rode bikes, relaxed and enjoyed the grounds. We did not eat at the hotel after trying several different options. The hotel was a good location for us as we were on the go all day doing island tours."

"I come to Kauai often and each time I stay at The Royal Sonesta. Each and every visit I consistently receive excellent service from every employee. The room is always beautiful, clean and well stocked. If I need anything, the staff is always prompt even if when my request is not urgent. I could go on and on about every positive but there is a character limit. : ) The only “negative” is the fact that I have to go home. From the beautiful island of Kauai to the great Royal Sonesta, it is honestly difficult to leave. That’s why my visits have been closer & more frequent. "
