"We had a fabulous two days at Finca La Anita. Pablo and Ana were fabulous hosts and we truly enjoyed learning from their knowledge of all things Costa Rican, especially the history and quality of chocolate and coffee. We stayed in cabin 8 which was comfortably rustic with a refrigerator. We found the temperature in mid Feb to be approx 10 degrees C cooler than the coast. "The owner has built a wonderful walking trail on property up a hillside. The patio and dining area area in a serene setting. I especially likes relaxing out on the hammock listening to the bullfrogs. Breakfast is fantastic with eggs made to order and a delish fresh fruit juice. Internet is not the best in the rooms, but that is probably from the thick doors. "

"Secluded large space, used to be a boutique hotel with now four rooms open/in use. Kids loved roaming around the property with the two horses being the fence and swimming in the pool with the beautiful views of the volcano Older property that fell a bit into disrepair, not the cheapest, but really responsive host who sent out the cleaning crew one more time Really relaxing, with hot springs just 5-10 minute drive away, we really enjoyed!"

"We had the deluxe bungalow, it was very clean, spacious and private. Very safe place that is just outside the small town of Bijagua. Can get pretty windy at night which is normal in the mountains, I am a sensitive sleeper so earplugs and eye covers recommended to help you get a good nights rest. Reasonable price for a pretty cute place with friendly prompt service and nice breakfast. About 20-30min drive from Tenorio National Park to see Rio Celeste. "

"My favourite place by far on our costa rica trip! Cabin had everything you could possibly need, we even made our own dinner one night. Owners are amazing, friendly people with so much knowledge of the area and all the animals and plants. Propertly is absolutely beautiful, with trails and a very nice garden (their super friendly dog even came with us on our walk around the property, which we loved!) Lots of birds right outside your own little balcony. And the best part.. there is a sloth! Right...
