"I got to this hotel by taxi, so I don't know about the transport links, but I think it's a good location to start sightseeing in Vienna right away. I arrived at night, but the bar behind the front desk was open, so I was able to have a meal and dessert. The chocolate homemade cake was delicious and went well with alcohol. The rooms were clean and well equipped.The service at the bar was great. I'd like to use it again."

"Fantastic boutique style but large hotel just a couple of minutes walk from the huge Wiener hbf train station. It’s not bang central Vienna and other areas might have slightly better restaurant options but it worked great for us. A simple direct train or bus from the airport then very easy to find the hotel and a brilliant choice of transport including the superb tram service outside the hotel door. Hotel rooms are lovely with a trademark round porthole style window. The bed is huge with separate duvets which is inspired! Nice bathroom with brilliant shower and also great toiletries. Only tiny issue was the coffee mugs not having handles so impossible to hold straight away as too hot! Sort that out Mooons! We did not use the hotel for breakfast as we found an amazing cafe Goldegg a 2 minute walk round the corner. The rooftop bar is lovely in good weather but the main bar was a little dull in-the evening. A very minor issue when laid against all the other excellent attributes of Mooons. Very highly recommended"
