"The house was nice and the fenced in yard is great even smaller dogs like mine can’t escape. We enjoyed the hot tube and how close we are to downtown BR. Only thing I can complain about is the sheets had dog hair and the comforters clearly hadn’t been washed. I get it pet friendly but my dog spent shed and didn’t want to sleep in hair. They were well stocked with laundry detergent so we were able to wash them and enjoy our trip. I would definitely stay here again or recommend it."

"Very comfy stay but if you are private people and do not want to be watched during your stay then you might reconsider this property. They have camera on front and back porch plus the neighboring house has cameras on every corner of their home. Felt very uneasy sitting outside to relax knowing that we were being watched and even heard. My husband and I wanted a private time away from family and kids but this felt like we were no TV alone if we wanted to sit anywhere outside. "

"It was the perfect home for our needs as we wanted a place close to Emerald Hollow Mine. Everything was clean and well maintained and great communication with our host. She found out we were there for a birthday weekend and left a nice birthday welcome. We definitely want to stay there again when we go back."

"We live on the NC coast and getting to go to the Mtns is a real treat and this home did not disappoint. From its central location to The Jefferson's and Boone to its open floor plan and wood burning stove. We thoroughly enjoyed it!"

"Loved the location and the view off the porch especially. Many deer passed through. Several problems unfortunately. 1)The door code and door lock were inoperable. Had to call Vacasa and get key to lock box and physical key. Even then, the door would not lock behind us. 2) Internet did not work until third day of stay. Again, this required phone time with Vacasa. 3) Hot water tap in second bedroom would not produce hot water. 4) Both tubs had unpleasant black mold on grout and caulk that might...
