"Our room was upgraded so had a wonderful spacious room. I liked the idea of a rustic old inn feel. On site pub and restaurant was convenient. Easy parking and access to the cataract gorge and riverside walkways were a bonus as it encouraged us to exercise everyday during our stay. "While the property is located close to the city centre, it is on a main road and there was a lot of traffic noise. Our room overlooked the main road so it was noisy and it was small but comfortable. The bathroom was small but functionable. It was good for the price."

"In its day a great place but showing signs of wear. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Shower was over the bath and hard to get into for someone with leg problems. As well there is no lift to the first floor for an incapacitated person "
