"Well maintained & fitted out farmhouse 30-40 mins to Ulverston and Devonport. Friendly & welcoming host who was adaptable & responsive to our last minute check in time change! We had a power outage during our stay & Alison was quick to try & smooth out the challenges that created on a rural property. Thank you "

"A lovely old homestead surrounded by welcoming lawn and gardens. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was spacious & charmingly rustic. It suited the needs of our extended family of 7 adults & 4 children. Our only disappointment was a few basic items that were missing .. there was no salt & pepper, cooking oil & an inadequate supply of toilet paper for the length of stay we’d booked for 11 people. "Spacious, clean accommodation with amazing views. Our 11 year old son loved feeding the animals with the supplied grain from the shelter."

"It was inclement weather, but I was tucked up warmly inside, great selection of warm drinks and loaf of homemade bread to keep me happy, thank you to the owners. The breakfast selection was great too. I would’ve loved to look around, a beautiful area, but the weather was wild."

"Lovely hosts, both Kim and Sharon, this was the best part of the stay. We had the cabin with 2 bedrooms which are great for our family of 4. We fed the farm animals once during our 2 day stay which was lovely. Nice fresh bread for breakfast was such a nice touch."
