"You can't beat the environment. It's in the middle of the redwoods. Each cabin-like room has big trees close by. The room is cute, like an antique; if this is your type of thing you probably would like it. However, it's quite old. The bathroom tube makes screeching noise (thankfully just for a minute or two) when first using faucet; the heater has a loud noise (dropping of water?) in the middle of night which woke us up. "The Crab Shack was perfect for us. We had relatives and friends drop by while we stayed there. We had plenty of room with the couch and the recliner to visit, along with the kitchen table to eat at. The place was immaculately clean. Prior to our arrival I called the office and left a VM, Carlon called me back and answered my questions and was very friendly. We would absolute do this again!!! "
