"Staff were very helpful and nice. We had an issue with our shower but it was quickly sorted. Meals taken at the pub were freshly cooked and lovely. Breakfast was left in your room and when you needed more you just had to ask downstairs. For the money we paid it was fair value"

"Our trip to this hotel was overall a pleasant experience, however a couple of items regarding this hotel need to be addressed. 1. The carpets areceorn and dirty, they need changing or at the very least cleaning. 2. The hot water in the shower takes too long to heat up (approximately a minutes) 3. "Very welcoming farming couple who go out their way to make sure everything is OK. Fantastic wholesome farmhouse meals provided. Location is very remote and strongly recommend asking if you can view the old waterwheel during your stay (you'll need a torch!)"

"Contrary to some reviews i have read about this establishment, we were very impressed! The staff were really lovely and very helpful, friendly and efficient. The room was clean,well appointed and quiet. We ate there both evenings of our stay and i honestly couldn't fault our meals in any way. Simply delicious and plenty of it. Breakfast was also very good and massive! We will definately be staying here again and i thouroughly,wholeheartedly reccommend it to anyone. Well done Burrator inn."
