"Lack of social atmosphere "

"Great location. Walking distance to almost all the tourists places except the atomium. Metro station just by corner & just one stop to the Brussels Midi/zuid station. Everything was on point as shown on the pictures. I have recommended some of my friends already. "

"Would be 5 stars except my phone was attacked 4 times over the network. Each attack required a hard reset to unlock the phone again. This is a network issue with their network. Stay in airplane mode while at the hostel. If the attack had succeeded I would have lost my phone and bank accounts."

"We have stayed here before and will Do again. Although it’s a youth hostel - nobody feels unwelcome. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is situate a very short walk from Charleroi central train and bus station. There are lifts to all floors and everybody is catered for here. "I did not feel very safe when I had to enter and walk through the giant premises at night time "

"On the outside it appears like a nice place, but the rooms are old and rickety, the shower is very cramped, the bathrooms are on odd half levels that you have to wander around to find. I happened to have very friendly roommates for the nights I was there, and the lockers for things were very small---too small to fit any carry-on luggage in. You just have to trust that no one will go through your things. The area is close to major shopping centers, which is great because there's a lot of food...

"Stayed in "private family room" which was basic but comfortable and clean. Hostel common areas were spacious and clean. Hostel was quiet. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Area around hostel is a bit sketchy, but not bad."
