"Would be 5 stars except my phone was attacked 4 times over the network. Each attack required a hard reset to unlock the phone again. This is a network issue with their network. Stay in airplane mode while at the hostel. If the attack had succeeded I would have lost my phone and bank accounts."

"On the outside it appears like a nice place, but the rooms are old and rickety, the shower is very cramped, the bathrooms are on odd half levels that you have to wander around to find. I happened to have very friendly roommates for the nights I was there, and the lockers for things were very small---too small to fit any carry-on luggage in. You just have to trust that no one will go through your things. The area is close to major shopping centers, which is great because there's a lot of food...

"We have stayed here before and will Do again. Although it’s a youth hostel - nobody feels unwelcome. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is situate a very short walk from Charleroi central train and bus station. There are lifts to all floors and everybody is catered for here. Breakfast is included in the price and there is plenty to fill yourself up. No cooked food other than boiled eggs - but they’re were lovely. "Great value for money; very pleasant staff, especially on reception, who went above and beyond; good breakfast. Some good middle eastern restaurants just around the corner. Only negative, currently, is that the area around the hostel is being redeveloped. "
