"Great place just a couple of issues but would stay there again 100%. Nobody to greet us on arrival but got key once contact made via phone (after finding number). Wrong room given (double instead of twin). Rectified and had a great stay. Great location - short enjoyable walk from beachfront. Shower temp seemed to be switch either on or off - if you care about that. Helpful staff and trustworthy owner. "

"Some confusion with the description of the room on the website but this does not reflect on the hotel. Very friendly staff, comfortable beds. More fresh fruit and gluten free options at breakfast, packaged individual yogurt vs the community bowls would have been more sanitary and an improvement. I did not use the pool or other facilities so can not comment. Very good location. "

"A lovely 2 star hotel in the old town. Comfortable bed, great shower and breakfast is good if you take it. Only grip was lack of storage …a few more hooks and maybe shkef would help "

"The room was excellent, I’ve stayed at the Barcelo which is a 4 star hotel and the room was much nicer in decor and cleanliness at Vagilia park. The hotel was fully booked so the receptionist couldn’t give me a room with a better view but it was ok. Other areas of the hotel do need improving such as swimming area and the jacuzzi needs to be heated this time of year (Feb). "Despite the large size of the property, the grounds were clean and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our room (489) was excellent and we would request it in the future. Dining was everything promised. The seafood was excellent. Sea salt-encrusted sea bass is a MUST! We had a minor issue that one of the property managers, Manuel more than addressed. He promptly corrected the matter and extended a beautiful, private seating with the sunset in the background with champagne and rose pedals all around us. Great property and great location. We will be coming back to Ritz, Abama. "

"I have just returned from a 5 night winter break here. I have travelled extensively but this hotel is up there with some of the best i have stayed in, certainly in Europe. The staff were all extremely polite friendly and professional. The pools and grounds were beautiful, but the town outside tge horel was very limited. We decided to upgrade to all inclusive on arrival which i would recommend due to the local town being limited for dining options. The dining on offer at the hotel was absolutely great and i couldnt fault it at all. The roon was spacious and clean but a little tired looking. I would have expected more minibqr items to be included with AI. The hitel is expensive but tge quality was spot on. We had the most relaxing lovely holiday "

"It was safe it was quiet and with the small Supermarket across the road (not LIDL) it was perfect for groceries. The pool area was well kept and surrounding area kept very clean. The only negative was the noise by the workman erecting a new boundary fence on the first floor above the pool area. Overall I will be back."
