"Absolutely thrilled with the stay and experience! Very much suggest arriving during daylight, as the trek up the driveway and remoteness of the location can be a bit overwhelming in complete darkness. Once we got our barrings in the light the next morning it was impeccable. Another thing i did not see noted in comments that was absolutely not an issue but would have liked to be aware of, the horizontal view from the cabin is slightly more obstructed than the pictures show (assume this may be more a summer obstruction than winter), but it is absolutely not a detriment and the night sky is still quite breathtaking. To be honest, though, this is truly nitpicking and could not have asked for a better trip. Absolutely plan to return in the future!"

"Beautiful and cozy cabin that was like a dream to stay in! Had everything you would want and not to far from restaurants, attractions and stores. Loved spending time in the hot tub overlooking the mountain tops. My teenager loved having the upstairs loft all to himself! Best of all, pet friendly so you don’t have to leave your fur babies at home. Owner very responsive and accommodating! Hope to return with my family in the future!"

"Our family has a tradition of going to the mountains of NC over the winter holidays, and getting off the grid a bit to relax and unwind. Every year we try to find a different place to stay just to have a unique experience, but we may have to make an exception and come back to the Treehouse on the farm. The cabin is absolutely perfect. The decor is beautiful and you can see that a lot of work and love went into creating this space (it's even better than the pictures). The location is just what we were after—away from the hustle and bustle, surrounded by beautiful mountain views and lots of hiking opportunities. The furniture is very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the uniqueness of the treehouse makes it very cozy and special. And our two kids couldn't get enough of visiting the animals on the farm. The weather got pretty cold during our stay, but the wood stove kept us plenty warm and just added to the ambience. (There is also a space heater and a gas fireplace in the bathroom to help out with warmth). The hosts provided plenty of firewood for us, even checking in to make sure we had enough and delivering more during our stay. The treehouse delivers a private, cabin-style experience in the woods, yet is also remarkably clean and comfortable. We can't wait to come back!"
