Beautiful views were an added bonus. The weather was not the greatest. The rain and overcast was a bit of a disappointment, but, that made it very easy to kick back and enjoy the cabin, porch and hot tub. And then, a dusting of snow 2 days. We will definitely be going back. "

"Stayed here with a group of friends for the weekend. It was an excellent time! The location is great, in a small development with a good paved road. It's five minutes or so to downtown Lansing and it's great spots and about 15 or so to downtown West Jefferson. Easy to get to from Raleigh and Charlotte, where our group was coming from. Communicate with the host was the best I've had with VRBO. The house felt roomy enough for the group and the kitchen helped us produce gourmet meals. The best...

"We had an incredible escape from reality! The house exceeded expectations!!!! Three couples gathered with our pups to celebrate milestone birthdays. Each couple had their own space and the common areas were very comfortable. West Jefferson was quaint and the Ingles grocery store was magnificent. The Old Barn Winery was a wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon. We hope to make this a tradition!!!! "
