"I was not expecting a code-style reception at "A Flemish Tale. To me, an in-person reception check-in is essential for a traveler overseas like me. Thankfully, I was waiting downstairs at least 2 hours before my "check-in time" at 3:00 p.m., so that I was able to meet, totally by chance, the lady in charge at the entrance. But for this, I would not have been able to get my access code. Imagine how scary it was! "

"Brilliant stay at this B&B as a family including our baby. We had plenty of space in our room and even had a smaller room joining in which we kept our luggage and our travel cot when our baby napped. The host was lovely and so helpful. She explained everything to us about breakfast service (which was so helpful for us as parents up super early and hungry). The host even provided a high chair for our baby. "First off, our host, Bernard met us at the train station and drove us to the property which was conveniently located next to the park. We fell in love with the house the minute we saw it. The interior is comfy with a working kitchen, lots of guidebooks and information about Bruges. There were two comfortable couches for us to lounge and relax on.
