"When I walked into the room it had a very bad smell in it. Roaches were everywhere. I had to go buy roach spray and a conform set for the bed. The water was brown. It was by far the worst place I've ever stayed in and I'll never even stay there again. "

"We used to rent the cabins over at Highland Marina each year for my wife's birthday. They no longer allow pets, so we had to change our annual lake retreat and found this place. Blows the 3 bedroom "chalet" over at Highland out of the water :) This house is gorgeous and big, so we have rooms for us, her parents, her friends and our kids all in the same place AND Charlie the dog can stay, walk around outside and jump in the lake. The hosts really thought of everything here, food, games etc. While...

"The reviews for the property were varied, but I’m so glad we went! The views were beautiful, we hiked an easy trailhead to a pretty sitting spot, and it had everything we needed. Realize that this is a cabin next to woods and water, a great fishing spot but you’ll be apt to find a spider web or perhaps even have a cat visit your porch. We’ll be back! "
