"Another Gem we found. Super friendly staff, beautiful location, incredible view, cute room w balcony, great food at restaurant and nice breakfast buffet. But make sure to make reservatiins at any restaurant in this area for a Saturday night. Don't miss the porterhouse steak in the restaurant across the street. Pool area and terrasse is amazing. Highly recommend this place off the beaten path. 1 hour to each Pisa and Florence from here. "

The owners are so nice, the apartment we stayed in was simply gorgeous, it had everything we needed and more. The owners made us feel so welcomed, the view from the infinity pool was breath taking, the place in general is amazing. If I could give it 10 stars I would. "

"We arrived late at night which our host kindly allowed for, but his English wasn’t good so it was hard for him to explain why the room we had booked and paid for wasn’t available and we were in a much smaller apartment which was not especially comfortable for the length of the stay with questionable weather.. "

"Wir haben nicht die gebuchte Wohnung erhalten. Die Bilder sind veraltet. Die Wohnung ist abgewohnt. Stellenweise fällt der Putz von der Wand, die Kaffeemaschine war defekt, die Toilettenspülung hing. Der Vermieter machte keine Anstalten die Probleme zu beheben. Obwohl dieser laut Beschreibung etliche Sprachen beherrscht, war es nicht möglich mit ihm auf englisch oder deutsch zu kommunizieren. Wir hatten 2 Wochen gebucht, sind aber nach einer Woche wieder abgereist."

"We loved our stay at the Borgo La Casseta. It’s a family business, they have a small restaurant on the main floor. It takes approx half an hour drive up the hill to get there from Pistoia. A little bit tricky to find. Parking is free (gated property). The room was clean, separate bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. A spectacular 180 degree city/valley view. "
