"The views of the High Peaks and Mirror Lake from the Great Room were spectacular. The food was tasty, and more reasonably priced than many of the main street restaurants. Dinner service was wonderful; breakfast seemed to be a bit under-staffed, but everyone was friendly. There doesn't seem to be any staff to help with bags, and some of the rooms are quite far from the front desk."

"The staff was truly remarkable. We were instantly relaxed. Our bags were in our room before we were. Snacks in the room, a well stocked fridge with water and juice. A lovely bottle of wine. Amazing breakfast included and brought to the room in baskets. When we checked out, the staff got our luggage, brought our car around, had bottled water ready for us and warmed up the car - all with smiles. And the bar staff - great drinks and very heavy pours with the wine :)"

"We liked the location. The hotel was busy but quiet. We would have liked it if housekeeping had come in daily to freshen things up. Other than that it was a very nice stay! We would definitely recommend this hotel!"
