"Paolo was an amazing host. The B&B is in a fantastic location right off the main road. There are 4 rooms total, each one is decorated with unique antiques and artwork that Paolo has collected. Paolo gave us great recommendations for what to see in town. "DON'T BOOK. The Carducci 24 B&B no longer exists. We arrived on 1st October 2017 to find a hotel with its shutters down, gates locked and no answer from the bell or first 5 phone calls. Eventually got hold of the owner who told us they don't even live in Stresa and the hotel closed down ages ago. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.
