"This hotel is set in an old building but its quaint and well maintained. 24 hour front desk. Secure, included parking less than a block away. Within easy walking distance of the cathedral and all the restaurants and shops in Centro. The room was basic but clean and the bed was comfortable. Lots of choices on the TV, except CNN which would be nice for English speaking guests. It's available but not subscribed to. "Beautiful hotel in the heart of Patzcuaro. easy walk to Plaza Quiroga, many restaurants and excellent coffee shops, and local market. Moises at the front desk is an extremely nice gentleman. He was very informative, and explained in detail the various smaller towns we could visit close to Patzcuaro including the island of Janitzio, the archaeological site of Tzintzuntzan, and the copper producing city of Santa Clara among many others. "Los dueños del departamento son muy estrictos ya que viven en la parte de bajo. El departamento tiene su estacionamiento pero solo ellos tienen acceso al portón, llegue tarde de una fiesta nunca me contestaron aunque me dijieron que les llamara y ellos abrían. Deje una luz prendida por accidente me mandaron mensaje sobre eso rápidamente. Do not stay here, owners live downstairs and are super strict and picky. Price is ok but not worth it."
