Drew had great communication to make sure we were settled and comfortable. The house was clean and the rooftop patio was great for dining and enjoying our evenings. "

"This little charm was a nice place to stay. The floors were cleaner than anywhere I’ve stayed. The queen bed was very comfortable. Water pressure in shower was really good. Towels and sheets were soft and smelled fresh. Easy walk to beach. There was no ocean view- maybe if it were sunnier I could see it standing in the house through some power lines. Could not hear ocean from the cottage even though the location is so close to the beach. Good communication from Riki. Enjoyed my stay. "

"Beautiful charming artistic cottage with incredible succulent gardens. We really enjoyed soaking up the sun while sitting in the garden, watching the birds. It was a short but very steep 4 block walk to Laguna beach which was a bit of a challenge for old knees but so gorgeous upon arrival. We'd like to stay again!"

"Loved this cottage! It was exactly as described, close to the beach and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. We rented bikes at Newport Pier, about 4 blocks from the house. They do have a small garage but we parked on the street. My husband and I stayed with our 2 teenage kids."

"We’ve always been smitten with the island and this lovely historical cottage was perfect for our extended stay. Between the grill with propane ready to go and the modern appliances and the well equipped kitchen,dining in was east and fun. Comfy beds, laundry access, and AC unit were great. John was a very communicative and generous hist - great experience!"

"We arrived with instructions to retrieve the front door key from a lock box. We opened the lock box only to find it was empty. We called our host numerous times, emailed and texted. We never got a response. We tried to contact hotels.com with no success. We finally were able to speak to someone at The Evolve Team, which is the company that manages this vacation rental. After numerous calls back and forth they agreed to cancel our booking and begin the process for refunding our money in full. I...

"We booked this house last minute for our fall break trip. It was great for so many reasons!! They allowed dogs, was one house off the sand, had great views of the beach/ocean/jetty from the patio, easy access to grocery and food options, plus there was a fire pit, sauna, and hot tub! The house was clean and well stocked with all the basic amenities. Drew the owner was very communicative and friendly. "
